Allison's Biography/Resume

In 1994, I began my career in esthetics/skin care and discovered I had a talent in makeup artistry.  My background in fine art (painting, drawing, sculpting) made it easy for me to understand the basic principals of makeup application. I've always had an interest in beauty and fashion and since 1995 I've been able to enjoy a successful career in the beauty industry.  I've worked as a freelance makeup artist with photographers on various projects, fashion shows and numerous bridal parties.  I've taught private makeup classes for individuals, salons/spas and beauty schools.  I am a New York State Examiner for the esthetics practical exam and in 2004 I graduated from The Orlo School of Hair Design and am now a licensed cosmetologist/hair stylist
